| Family Resource Night
Kids of Honor and their families gather on January 20 to play an interactive game... LIFE... Each youngster recieves a career and monthly wage (in play money) as they arrive. Moving from table to table the YEAH students help them 'rent' living quarters, aquire phone service, negotiate transportation and make financial decisions that they will face when they leave home. The younger kids have to figure out how to stretch their dollars to cover all of their living expenses. meanwhile the YEAH studnets engage with making change and explaining creative ways to 'make ends meet'. Adult family members often comment that they wish someone has done this for them when they were younger. Watch for photos soon!
