You Can Help Kids of Honor® and our Partners

Do you want to have some fun...
and make a difference in the life of a youth in our community?

We've got a variety of ideas for you.  In addition to opportunities to help Kids of Honor®, we serve as a 'clearing house' to support our partners. Below you will see a few volunteer opportunities.  If you want to help, just contact us.  We'll find something fun for you to do.

 

Kids of Honor® Needs:
Tutors for our partner sites
Consistent faces on a
weekly
bi-weekly
set time period
Be a Buddy
Stand in as a chaperone on Connection Club Outings
Adopt a Partner – Commit for a year
Regularly picks up point sheets (weekly or monthly)
Attend that site’s celebrations
Serve as a back-up to Kids of Honor® Programming Director
Partner Site Needs:
The Salvation Army – Westisde
Tutors –K-Middle School
Math
Reading
Science
M-F 4:15-5
Bennett Middle School / Salisbury University / Wicomico Mentoring Partnership Coalition
Mentors during Dec / Jan / May times that SU students are not  in Salisbury
School Hours
1-16 people
Garland Hayward Youth Center
Mentors for Boys grades 8-12
3:30-6:30 weekdays
Persons interested in teaching skills to this same age group
Anyone interested in bringing the arts to the community center
